The council, which will last for three days, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a lecture delivered by Sheikh Abdullah al-Ka'bi, in which he highlighted some aspects of the life of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), as well as important milestones from his great biography.
The council concluded by reading the hussayni lamentations by the Radood Ali Basha al-Karbalai, in which he expressed the great pain that squeezes the hearts of Muslims, on the anniversary of the fortieth day after the martyrdom of the master of the youth of the people of paradise, and the calamities that happened to his family and companions (peace be upon them).
